It's going to take all of us to make a difference!
As a reflection of God’s grace towards us, we believe that growing in generosity and embracing the Spirit of giving
is an important part of becoming more like Jesus. We encourage you to actively participate in our mission to feed our neighbors!

There are 3 bigs ways to lend a hand.
There are 4 ways to support the work and the need, as we feed bodies and souls in our community.
- Monthly giving. Donate $35 or more monthly and you will be directly helping at least one family get a free box complete with a meal prep kit as well as food essentials! The money goes straight towards the need. Give $105 or more a month and that will support at least three families. Use Givelify Cash App. or Online Bill Pay through your own bank.
- One-time giving. If you can only give a one-time payment of $35, $105 or more, that will be greatly appreciated because every little bit counts!
- Corporate giving. Whether you are: extremely generous, connected to a local business or national corporation, or starting a fundraiser among loved ones, donate $700 or more a month (that's at least 20 food boxes for 20 families) and you may qualify for a corporate sponsorship. Please email us or call (202) 399-7774, for more information.
- Food. If you'd like to donate food, please email us or call (202) 399-7774. We may not be able to store large quantities of food donations at this time.
Volunteers, like you, are critical to providing food to our neighbors during this difficult time. These volunteers will fall into 3 categories:
You can also host a small food-packing event of your own for loved ones, co-workers, and friends. If you have grant-writing experience or have a well-connected network that you think we might benefit from, please contact the team. It might mean just a conversation and not a full-on commitment. If you want to volunteer, please pray about your time and where you fit in. We understand that you're busy, however, once you sign up we consider the slot filled and your help a guarantee. Sign up here!
Safety is key. The health and safety of volunteers and neighbors are a top priority. We will be limiting operations to ensure social distancing. While volunteering we encourage you to take the following safety measures: If you feel sick, stay home; and follow GAC and CDC protocols and guidelines, including wearing protective gear (gloves and masks) and washing and sanitizing your hands. If you don't have access to protective gear, it can be provided to you.
- Intake volunteers. This is a long-term commitment that involves following up with our neighbors to listen, check in, and better understand their needs, goals, and prayer requests.
- Pantry volunteers. This is a short- to long-term commitment, depends on your schedule, that involves volunteering to set up, pack, and/or distribute the food boxes curbside to neighbors.
- Teaching volunteers. This is a super flexible commitment. If you have a skill or expertise that might benefit our neighbors, then you might qualify to teach it in person and/or record a session over Zoom.

We understand the importance of prayer both as individuals and as a community of believers. While we encourage individuals to engage in daily prayer for our neighbors we have also created opportunities to engage in prayer on Tuesdays as a family. Feel free to join us. There is no greater need in the life and ministry of a church, and we invite you to partner with us in prayer. Submit your prayer requests.
